The movie is Lightstorm Entertainment's most recent project, and focuses on an epic conflict on a far-away world called Pandora, where humans and the native species of Pandora, the Na'vi, take on a struggle over the planet's resources and existence.
The movie will be released in 2D and 3D formats, along with an IMAX 3D release in chosen theaters. The motion picture is being touted as a innovation in terms of filmmaking technology, for its improvement of 3D presentation and stereoscopic filmmaking with cameras that were specially intended for the film's making. The film has been rated PG-13 by the MPAA for strong heroic combat sequences and warfare.
